Artists’ Statement
Drawing inspiration from the earth, Victoria’s work explores the edge, places where earth meets water, where water meets sky, transition points that flow comfortably from the real to the abstract.
Her abstracted landscapes feature gentle free-flowing layers of color with graceful calligraphic lines, crisp detail combined with dreamy backgrounds, drawing you over the edge with her, to move from the known into depths and texture that fire the imagination and beg the viewer to explore further.
Victoria creates powerful larger-than-life images; her landscapes are oversized large format acrylic on panel.
