File Size Recommendations
These are our file size recommendations in total pixels for ordering 35mm Slides from digital files:

We automatically resample all of your images to the maximum 2732x4096 pixel resolution of our film recorders when we make your slides. We strongly recommend that you do not resample your images to make them larger before uploading them to iPrintfromHome.com. Too much resampling may cause image degradation.
If your images are larger than our maximum resolution, resampling them down to our maximum resolution will not adversely affect your images and it will make them more manageable for uploading to iPrintfromHome.com.
We advise that you focus your efforts on obtaining high quality, high resolution image capture when you are shooting or scanning and then leave the rest to us.
If you feel the need to resize your images, here are our file size guidelines:
We recommend a minimum file size of 1200x1800 pixels when ordering 35mm slides from digital files.
1) Because it's proportional to the 2x3 aspect ratio of a 35mm slide.
2) it's a manageable file size appropriate for online uploading
3) it provides a sufficient amount of digital information to make an excellent 35mm slide output.
At a size of 4x6 inches, 1200x1800 pixels is equivalent to 300dpi .
2732x4096 is the maximum that the film recorder can use. At a size of 4x6 inches, 2732x4096 pixels is equivalent to 682dpi . If you are anywhere in the middle between 1200x1800 and 2732x4096 pixels you are fine.
We advise that you don't order slides from files smaller than 600x900 pixels.
