Who/What are you?
WAM, Writers/Artists/Musicians, is a group started by Erica Eichelkraut of NOMAD Magazine & Alex Foote & Derek Presti of the band Free Henry! WAM started at the NOMAD Magazine first issue release party. It was a night of talent, all around! There were bands, acoustic musicians, visual artists, poets and more who performed to make it a night to remember. It was clear something like this was needed and wanted in Buffalo, so WAM was born!
  
What do you do?
WAM hosts events on the last Wednesday of each month at the Stillwater, 481 Delaware Avenue. Each month, new artists & performers are featured, and others have a chance to show off their talents during an open mic that closes out the evening. The events function to bring creative people together, encourage networking & showcase Buffalo talent!
How can people get involved with what you’re doing?
