The Rochester premier of the RIT Children Awaiting Parents Photojournalism Exhibition opens with a public reception from 7 to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 9, at Gallery r. The show runs through Jan. 7, 2006.
Portraits of foster children who wait for a home and parents to love them:
The dimples highlighting her smile. The quiet intensity of his eyes.
The carefree look of a dreamer. The playful glance of a fun-loving five year old.
Rochester Institute of Technology’s Gallery r and Children Awaiting Parents are participating in the national Heart Gallery movement—an exhibition showcasing artistic images of children currently in foster care and available for adoption.
