About the Artist
I am mainly a pastel artist, but also paint in oil and acrylic from time-to-time. I am an award winning artist and have been painting for 35 years, with many pieces of art in collections across the United States.
This show is about my plein air paintings from a trip to France this summer, and the studio paintings created from photographs and plein air works. There are street scenes and landscapes, some of which incorporate people enjoying the scene. My artist statement is especially relevant here as "chosen moments" is the best way to describe the scenes from France. The "French Series" paintings will be on display for approximately one month, though some will remain longer since I am a continuously showing artist in this gallery.
