Under The Radar emerged in response to our shared studio environment as we considered the meaning of place, both past and present, and its influence on the art making process. With guidance from our mentors, the program has provided a collaborative and professional environment for us to bring authenticity to our work. Under the Radar intersects 23 emerging artists at a historic airplane hangar. In this unique setting, the works awake dormant memories, bring fragments of the unnoticed to the surface and challenge perception by shadowing the visible and evoking the invisible.
