About the Artist
I began working with 35mm photography more than 15 years ago and switched to digital photography about 4 years ago. I love the color and myriad form of flowers and nature and have taken hundreds if not thousands of nature based pictures. I have also taken pictures of the many unique faces of the people and have been captivated by the individuality of each of characters that I see. I attempt to capture that essence in my pictures.
My work represents the type of work I enjoy doing. In addition to the natural beauty of flowers, I see beauty in natural scenes and scenery. I produced pictorial essays in Paris and in Transylvania where in 1993 I lectured about Aids Testing in the United States. I believe that a picture should tell a story; indeed it should be worth 10,000 words.
